Here are several options into Seldovia by air. Availability varies so check their sites for the most up-to-date information.

If you have already found yourself in Homer, AK and are looking to travel to Seldovia, AK by sea there are three options to consider. Each varies in duration, schedule and frequency so please check their sites directly for the most up-to-date information and routes.

Seldovia has a local cab service that runs 8am-12am daily and year round.

Seldovia has various hiking trails. We recommend these two: The Otter Bahn (trailhead located by the school) with an easy to moderate difficulty and Rocky Ridge Trail (2 trailheads located behind the airport and on Rocky St.) a 2 hour loop trail. You are likely to run into native wildlife on the trails!

There is an abundance of fishing (salmon, halibut, cod, etc.) and clamming in Seldovia. Be sure to get a fishing license and check out the local guides for excellent fishing adventures.

We have one kayak that can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are also companies in Seldovia that offer sea kayak tours for a more guided experience of the surrounding area and waters.
