Deemed ‘The City of Secluded Charm,' Seldovia offers a myriad of outdoor adventures just steps from your front door, including hiking, biking, kayaking, berry picking, and fishing (hello, salmon and halibut!). When you're not out and about, relax at home and enjoy a fire in the wood-burning stove, or look for wildlife from the spacious deck. Onsite housekeeper and guest contact, Haley and her dog Betsy, lives on premise in a separate unit. Contact information will be provided once booking complete. Additional services such as laundry, grocery shopping, breakfast can be provided for a fee. September 2024 5.00Was a little bit expensive but was really nice 😊 Positive: we stayed three nights and had a blast!! Definitely recommend staying at swan lake ♥️ Beautiful views and who can beat four bathrooms lol Responding right away to my texts and answered all my questions. Negative: Couldn’t figure out the fancy german oven. Air pump for bikes. We couldn’t ride because the tires were going flat. A map of how to get to the property because we had no cell service and had to walk to the bar to get help.

June 2024 5.00We had an amazing stay! House is absolutely. We had three eagles hanging out in the trees immediately away from the porch for the better part of a day. Sean and Haley were so responsive to your questions and communicated well for activities in and around in the area. There were lots of extras in the kitchen such as ziplock bags and spices. Each bedroom also had a small living room. Would come back again. Great for leisure or WFH.

June 2024 5.00A fabulous place to say for a large family or office retreat! Amazing views over the Seldovia slough, a nice walk to little sea side town of Seldovia. Kitchen is large and set up for cooking for a large group & you can’t beat the dinning area out in the solarium…. Floor to ceiling windows! Amazing trip! Thank you!!!

March 2024 5.00If you want to relax in nature with stellar views and an awesome house, this is the place for you. Positive: First of all, the location on the slough is divine. We got to see otters swimming, eagles in the trees right outside of the house, and so many different types of birds. The house itself was stocked with everything we needed, had a great number of bedrooms (most of which had their own bathrooms and attached living spaces like a suite), and the views from the rooms were also stunning. Such a peaceful place to spend our time and a great place to come back to after we spent our days out on the water fishing, hiking the nearby trails, and exploring the little town. All in all, this was a great getaway and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this property. Negative: To be honest, the entire experience went so smoothly from communication with the point of contact to receiving the keys on arrival. I don't think there is anything more we needed. The on-site housekeeper was also very helpful in answering our questions and people in town were so friendly!
